A&C Field Hockey Academy is committed to growing the sport of field hockey in Ontario. One of the pathways to growth is at the grassroots level by introducing field hockey in schools and by supporting existing school programmes and creating greater awareness of the opportunities available beyond school programmes…in Ontario, at universities and college both in Canada and the US, and Nationally.

Our high school programmes are designed to:

• Help increase awareness of the sport and grow the sport by introducing to students at the middle school and early high school age groups.
• Support school systems as they introduce the sport, either with coaching support through the creation of a school team or by introducing within the physical education curriculum.
• Create an awareness in the existing athletes of the opportunities to play and excel in field hockey outside of high school: whether at the local club level, at the provincial level, at the university level, or at the national level.

• Create training and playing opportunities for high school teams including Back to School camps and Tournaments during the high school season and indoor tournaments during the winter months.

• Provide opportunities and venues for high school athletes to be seen by university recruiters, both in Canada and in the US, and to provide guidance and support to prepare for recruiting opportunities.
• Create a passion for field hockey.
