A&C Field Hockey Academy was established in 2010 with the goal of elevating field hockey in Ontario to the same level of recognition and respect that it receives as one of the world’s most popular team sports. Our goal is to bring you the best field hockey coaching and training available, to excite you about the game, to inspire your passion, and to ensure your success. We are passionate and dedicated to excellence.
A&C wants to spread passion for the sport and attract players at all levels to enter the sport to play for fun and recreation while targeting talented athletes and supporting them by offering superior training in tactical, technical, and fitness skills specific to field hockey.
A&C is dedicated to the promotion of young girls and women in sport and undertakes to provide training, support, and commitment to help field hockey athletes achieve their personal goals of appearing on the university, national or world stage.
Our Primary Objectives:
- To accelerate athletes’ technical, tactical, and fitness skills in the sport of field hockey.
- To offer coaches an alternative to current training programmes with the purpose of developing and/or complementing their current skills as a coach.
- To provide schools additional accelerated training for their athletes and coaches.
- To create and support playing opportunities for all ages and all levels, from introductory to elite, as a way to grow participation and excellence in the sport.
